The following are frames from the new digitally re-tranferred director's cut of the cult classic "Dead Looters." Jon Springer meticulously reconstructed the 10-year-old film using the original Super-8 and sound elements, adding new sound effects and an updated musical score.

The restoration was initiated when "Dead Looters" was invited to the 1st Annual SMMASH Festival in Minneapolis. Festival promoter John Swon of ReelCinema.net had seen "Dead Looters" 10 years before, and said it was then that he knew he wanted to be a filmmaker.
